Woolly’s Park

Right next to the beach in Woolacombe, this little park punches well above its weight for such a small village. Kids get slides, swings, a climbing frame, a sandbox, and a water feature — which honestly keeps them busy long after you’d expect. The enclosed layout means parents can actually sit at the picnic tables and relax without constantly jumping up. Parking’s easy, visibility is good, and the open grass field gives older ones room to run when they’re done with the equipment. If you’re spending a day on the beach anyway, it’s worth factoring in a stop here — mine never wanted to leave.
