Bassetlaw Council Play Area

Honestly, it’s seen better days. The swings are pretty much the main attraction here, and even those are looking a bit worse for wear — classic Bassetlaw Council upkeep, or lack of it. Dog mess is a genuine problem, so watch where you’re stepping if you bring little ones, and by the evening the older kids tend to take over the space. That said, for a quick outing with kids between 2 and 15 it does the basic job, and there’s enough of a separation between the younger and older areas that it doesn’t feel completely chaotic. Just go in with realistic expectations.
