Honestly one of the better spots in Bangor for a full day out with young kids — you get proper value here with the rides, and the free playground means you’re not constantly reaching into your pockets. The play train is a genuine hit with toddlers, and the water feature keeps the older ones busy on warmer days while you grab a coffee from the cafe and actually sit down for five minutes. It sits right alongside the water, so the views are decent while you’re watching them burn energy on the slides and climbing structure. Picnic tables, shade, parking, baby changing — it’s all there, which makes the whole thing feel a lot less stressful than it could be.
