The pirate ship is honestly the star of the show here — kids go absolutely mad for it, and it holds up well since the renovation. There’s a decent climbing structure and some tunnels to keep younger ones busy while older kids burn off energy on the open grass field. Parking is right there, which makes life easier if you’re coming with a full car of little ones and all the gear that involves. Picnic tables mean you can actually sit down and eat without hunting for a spot, which isn’t something every park in the area can say. A solid local option for all ages, and one of the better-kept spots along the Carrickfergus seafront.
