Racecourse Road Playtrail

If you live on this side of Derry and haven’t taken the kids to Racecourse Road Playtrail yet, you’re missing out on one of the better afternoons this city has to offer. The zipline alone is worth the trip — it gets a proper queue going on a sunny Saturday. Beyond the slides and swings, there’s enough space to actually wander, with forest trails, open grass, and themed areas that make it feel like more than just a standard playground. The outdoor theatre is a nice touch, especially when seasonal events are on. Parking’s there too, which honestly makes all the difference when you’ve got little ones in tow.
