Haughton Park Playground

Tucked within Haughton Country Park, this is one of those spots where the setting does most of the heavy lifting. The grounds give kids plenty of room to roam, and if you time it right, Farquharson’s Coffee Shop is right there when you need a caffeine fix mid-outing. It’s a proper park day kind of place — less about specific equipment, more about fresh air and open space. Locals know it’s worth the trip to Alford just to let the kids loose for a few hours.
