Kennedy Recreation Park

Honestly, Kennedy Recreation Park is one of those spots in Ayr that locals keep coming back to — and it’s easy to see why. The park sits close enough to the coast that you get that fresh sea air without having to go far, and the surrounding area gives you plenty to explore beyond just the park itself. Dunure harbour is a short trip away if you fancy a pint or a coffee after, and the ruined castle nearby is worth a wander if you’ve got kids with any sense of adventure. Parking’s sorted and there are restrooms on site, which always makes life easier when you’re out with little ones.
