Cargenbridge Park

Cargenbridge is one of those parks that actually delivers on the “quiet neighbourhood” promise — no chaos, just a decent stretch of open grass where kids aged 4 to 14 can properly run about without adults having a meltdown. The bike track gets good use, and the walking path loops the area nicely if you fancy stretching your legs while keeping an eye on things. There’s a lake nearby that adds a bit of calm to the whole visit, especially on those rare Scottish days when the weather plays ball. Locals tend to know about this one and keep coming back, which says a lot.
