If you’re in Elgin with kids in tow and the weather’s doing its usual thing, Pinz is genuinely one of the better shouts in town. The soft play keeps the little ones busy while you actually get to sit down and eat something decent — which, honestly, not every place pulls off. Bowling is there for when the kids are ready for something different, and it works well for mixed-age groups. The staff seem to actually enjoy being there, which makes a difference when you’ve got a two-year-old having a moment. Good spot for birthdays or just a rainy Saturday when you need somewhere that works for everyone.
