Rowan Boland Play Park

Locals round here know this one’s worth the visit — the equipment’s been replaced fairly recently, so everything’s actually in decent nick for once. You’ve got slides, swings, and a climbing structure, which keeps kids of pretty much any age occupied without the usual “I’m bored” complaints after five minutes. It gets a good rep for being clean and well-maintained, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. Parents seem to rate it for feeling safe too, which makes a difference when you’re trying to actually relax for five minutes.
