Kelvingrove Park Play Area (West)

Decent wee spot for toddlers and younger kids — the equipment is kept in good nick and there’s enough to keep the under-5s happy for a solid half hour. The riverside setting does a lot of the heavy lifting here, honestly, because the actual play kit is just slides and a merry-go-round, so older ones will get bored fast. That said, if you’re already walking through Kelvingrove you’re passing it anyway, and the trails and pond nearby give you somewhere to wander once the kids are done. Worth knowing the skate park is close if you’ve got a mix of ages to keep entertained.
