Peel Park Playground

Honestly one of the better playgrounds on this side of Glasgow — the views alone make the trip worth it, and that’s before the kids even clock the equipment. There’s a solid setup with slides, swings, and a merry-go-round that keeps the 4-to-11 crowd genuinely occupied for a decent stretch. The open grass field is great for a kickabout, and the trails nearby mean you can tack on a proper walk if you’re feeling ambitious. Picnic tables and benches are well placed, so parents aren’t just standing around awkwardly, and parking takes the stress out of getting there. The whole place is kept in good nick — nothing worse than turning up to a scruffy park, and this one doesn’t disappoint.
