Thorn Park Playground

Solid wee spot if you’re after something a bit more low-key than the bigger parks in the city. The wooden equipment gives it a proper outdoorsy feel rather than that plasticky look you get everywhere else these days. Good amount of green space around it too, so there’s room to actually breathe. The walking path makes it worth a visit even if you’re not bringing kids — plenty of locals use it for a quick loop.
