The renovation really did sort this place out — Whin Park is genuinely one of the better spots in Inverness for a family afternoon. Kids go straight for the zipline and the pirate ship, and the miniature railway is the kind of thing that gets requested again and again. The pond walk is lovely if you want a breather while the little ones burn off energy, and there are decent benches dotted around so you’re not standing the whole time. Toilets on site too, which matters more than people admit.
