Moor play park

Tucked alongside a decent riverside walk from town, this one’s genuinely worth the trip if you’ve got toddlers in tow. The equipment looks like it’s had a recent refresh, which makes a difference compared to some of the more tired parks around Irvine. There’s a good stretch of open grass for wee ones to burn off energy, and the forest trails nearby mean you can easily make a full afternoon of it. The swings are the main draw for the little ones, though honestly they could do with a few more benches — one or two just doesn’t cut it when you’ve got a crowd of parents showing up on a dry day.
