Eoropie Dunes Park

Right at the edge of the dunes with the Atlantic basically on your doorstep, this is one of those spots that genuinely earns its reputation. The community put serious effort into getting the equipment right — slides, swings, a climbing structure, a merry go round, a sandbox, and an actual maze, so kids of different ages all find something worth fighting over. After the playground tires them out, the open grass and walking path give you somewhere to decompress, and the beach is right there if you want to extend the day entirely. Parking and restrooms on site mean you’re not scrambling, which matters when you’ve driven out this far on Lewis.
