Given that Kirriemuir is J.M. Barrie’s birthplace, it makes total sense that this park leans hard into the Peter Pan theme — and honestly, it pulls it off really well. Kids aged 3 to 12 get a solid mix of equipment: zipline, climbing structure, merry-go-round, swings, seesaw, and slides, so there’s rarely a moment of “I’m bored.” The place is kept genuinely clean and tidy, which you notice straight away, and the restrooms, picnic tables, and BBQ area mean you can easily make a full afternoon of it. Parking is easy, the open grass field gives older kids room to run, and the walking path is handy if you want to stretch your legs while the little ones play. Local families come back to this one regularly, and it’s easy to see why.
