Lochinver playground

Honestly, for a wee village playground in Lairg, this one punches above its weight purely on location alone. The fenced enclosure means you can actually relax instead of constantly chasing kids toward the road, which makes a real difference. There’s a swing set and a merry-go-round — nothing fancy, but kids don’t care, they’ll happily spend an hour on both. Grab one of the picnic tables and make a proper stop of it, especially if you’re passing through on the NC500 and need a break from the car.
