If you’re after somewhere low-key in Montrose where the kids can run about without you constantly watching the road, this little spot in Hillside does the job well. It’s got an enclosed play area which makes a real difference when you’ve got younger ones, and the open grass field around it gives older kids space to kick a ball or just tear about. The neighbourhood is genuinely quiet — not much through traffic, which adds to the relaxed feel. It won’t win any awards for fancy equipment, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
