Nairn Splashpad

If the sun’s out in Nairn, this is where you’ll find half the town’s toddlers. The splashpad sits right beside the beach, so you can easily combine it with a proper seaside day out — paddling in the sea one minute, running through the water jets the next. It’s best suited to the under-5s crowd, though siblings tend to get dragged in regardless. Fair warning: on a warm day it gets busy, so arrive early if you want a good spot near the seating. There’s a café close by and a dry playpark nearby too, which helps when someone inevitably decides they’ve had enough water.
