Locals seem to keep this one pretty well under wraps, which honestly suits the regulars just fine. It’s a modern setup with a soft tarmac surface that holds up well even when the Scottish weather does its worst — and around Thurso, that’s saying something. The secure fencing means you can actually sit on one of the benches and relax rather than spending the whole visit hovering. There’s a decent open grass field for kids who just need space to burn off energy, and the whole place stays noticeably clean compared to a lot of parks in the area.
