Bron-y-Nant Playground

If you’re heading into Betws-y-coed for a walk in the forest anyway, this one’s worth stopping at. The wood chip surfacing and climbing structure are well-suited to the younger crowd — toddlers and kids up to around 10 seem to get the most out of it. Swings and a slide round things out nicely, nothing flashy, but it’s all kept in good nick. Picnic tables mean you can actually sit down properly while the kids burn off energy, and parking nearby makes the whole thing easy. It’s quiet, it backs onto the woodland, and it never feels overrun.
