Maes Chwarae Llyn Padarn

Right on the edge of Llyn Padarn with Snowdon sitting in the background, this is genuinely one of the better spots to bring kids in the area. The fenced play area has slides, swings, and a climbing structure — nothing over the top, but solid enough to keep toddlers and primary school age kids busy for a good stretch. Parents can actually sit and relax here, which isn’t always a given — there are benches, picnic tables, and decent sightlines across the whole area. Toilets and parking on-site make it easy, and the walking path and open grass mean older kids or restless adults have room to roam. If you’re already heading out to Padarn Country Park, this is an obvious stop.
