The kids get a proper play area to burn off energy while you actually sit down and eat something decent — locally sourced food, good coffee, the kind of farm shop where you end up spending more than you planned because everything looks too good to leave behind. Picnic tables make it easy for families to spread out, and it works just as well for a quick coffee stop as it does for a longer lunch. Toddlers through to primary age kids are well catered for, which is honestly harder to find than it should be around here.
