Locals with kids know Penyfan is one of the more reliable spots in Llanelli — fenced in properly, good sightlines so you can actually sit down for five minutes without losing track of anyone. There’s a solid mix of stuff to keep the 2-to-12 crowd busy: slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox that the younger ones absolutely won’t want to leave. The picnic tables and shade trees make it worth staying for lunch rather than just doing a quick pass. Parking’s handy too, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve wrestled a buggy halfway across town.
