Waterston Park

Right on the edge of some decent woodland trails, this little park in Milford Haven punches above its weight. The enclosed play area keeps younger kids contained while parents actually get to sit down on a bench and breathe for five minutes — solid visibility throughout, which matters. There’s a tire swing alongside the usual slides and tunnels, and the whole setup feels spacious rather than cramped. When the kids burn through the equipment, the open grass field and soccer pitch give them somewhere to burn off whatever energy’s left. Good natural feel to it, nothing too manicured, and the forest nearby makes it worth combining with a longer walk if you’ve got the legs for it.
