Blackpill Prom Children’s Play Area

Right on the edge of Swansea Bay, this spot is basically as close to the beach as you can get without actually being on the sand. The water feature is the big draw in summer — kids absolutely flock to it, and honestly it keeps them entertained far longer than you’d expect. There’s a decent stretch of open grass too, so if you’ve got a group with mixed ages, the younger ones can splash around while the older kids have a proper run-about. It’s one of those places locals keep coming back to all season, and with the sea right there as a backdrop, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better afternoon out in Swansea.
