Pennard Playing Field

Locals know this place gets looked after properly — the grass is actually green and mown, which isn’t something you can take for granted around here. The ping pong table gets a surprising amount of use, so don’t show up expecting a quiet game on a sunny afternoon. There’s a decent soccer pitch and plenty of open space for kids to just run about without adults panicking, which suits the under-14 crowd well. It comes alive during community events — the Pennard Carnival draws a good crowd and makes the whole field feel like the centre of the village for a day.
