Maesydre Recreation Ground

Locals know this one as a decent spot for older kids who just need room to move — the open grass field is genuinely spacious, good for a kickaround or just burning off energy after school. There are swings here too, nothing fancy, but they do the job. It’s a bit removed from the town centre which actually works in its favour, keeping it quieter than you’d expect. If your kids are past the toddler stage and need somewhere they can actually stretch their legs, Maesydre is worth the trip.
