If you’re after somewhere genuinely peaceful for the kids, this little spot in Overton delivers. The play area has slides, swings, and a climbing structure — nothing over-the-top, but enough to keep little ones busy while you sit on one of the benches and actually relax. It’s kept clean and tidy, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park around Wrexham. The open grass field and walking path mean dog walkers tend to make a morning of it, especially with the forest trails and a nearby pond adding a bit of countryside character. Good sightlines throughout, so you’re never scrambling to spot where the kids have got to.
