If you’ve never been to Smith Lake, this is honestly one of the better spots to experience it. McCurry’s Landing draws people for events and gatherings, and the views over the water are the kind that make you understand why folks around Crane Hill are so protective of this area. It works well as a venue — the lakeside setting does a lot of the heavy lifting. Worth knowing about if you’re planning something and want the lake as your backdrop.
