Hamilton Park

Locals with little ones know Hamilton Park is one of the more low-key spots in Anchorage — no crowds, no chaos, just a solid open grass field where toddlers can actually run without you panicking. The bike track gets heavy use from the under-8 crowd, and the walking path is easy enough for strollers or wobbly first-time riders. There’s a basketball court if older siblings or parents need something to do while the kids wear themselves out. Picnic tables and benches mean you can actually sit down and enjoy it, which isn’t a given at every park in the city.
