Kiwanis Fish Creek Park

If you live on the south side of Anchorage, this is probably already your go-to spot. The zipline gets a lot of attention — and honestly, it earns it — but the inclusive swings are what really set this park apart, since kids of pretty much any ability can actually use them. You’ve got a basketball court and bike track for older kids, plus walking paths that wind near the creek and trees, so it never feels like you’re stuck in a concrete box. Shaded seating, restrooms, and solid parking mean you can actually stay a while without planning around it. One of the better all-around parks in the municipality, full stop.
