If you’re looking for a playground that actually has some personality, this one delivers — the musical elements alone (bongo drums, xylophone keys) make it worth the trip, especially if you’ve got little ones who think they’re rock stars. The climbing and sliding setup is solid, and the whole area is kept up really well, which isn’t something you can take for granted in Anchorage. Restrooms are clean, there’s plenty of green space to spread out, and picnic tables make it easy to turn a playground visit into a full afternoon. It also hosts the Arts Festival, so the space is built to handle a crowd without feeling cramped.
