Pirate Park at Sunflower

If you’re local to the Sunflower neighborhood, you already know this place stays busy for good reason. The pirate ship and castle structures give kids enough to argue over — who gets to be captain, who claims the castle — and the climbing keeps them genuinely worn out by the time you leave. There’s a merry-go-round too, which the little ones absolutely lose their minds over. Shade trees actually do their job here, and the picnic tables mean you can bring lunch and make a real afternoon of it. Good for anywhere from toddlers up through age 12, and the walking path gives adults something to do besides just stand there.
