If you’ve got a teenager in Juneau who needs somewhere to actually hang out after school, this is the spot. The covered basketball court gets a lot of use year-round — which, if you know Southeast Alaska weather, you understand why that roof matters. Staff here are genuinely good with kids, not just babysitting them, and the free food situation keeps people coming back. It’s one of those places that fills a real gap in the community for the 12-and-up crowd.
