Out on the North Peninsula, this school playground is one of those low-key local spots that families in Nikiski actually use on weekends when they just need to get the kids outside for a bit. It’s a solid option if you’re already up that way — not worth a special trip from Kenai proper, but convenient if you’re in the area. The setting has that classic Southcentral Alaska feel, plenty of open sky and the kind of quiet you don’t get in busier spots. Worth knowing about if you’ve got little ones and you’re passing through the peninsula.
