Crescent Harbor playground

Right on the edge of Sitka Sound, this playground is honestly one of the better setups in town for families with a wide age range. The enclosed area means toddlers aren’t wandering off toward the water, and the climbing structure plus tire swing keep older kids busy long enough for parents to actually sit down at the picnic tables. Restrooms on-site is a bigger deal than people realize — especially with little ones. After the kids burn through the sandbox and slides, the open grass field and walking path give everyone room to stretch out, and the beach is close enough that you can make a whole afternoon of it.
