If you ask pretty much anyone in Valdez where to take the kids, this is the place they’ll point you to. The setup has slides, swings, and climbing structures that actually give older kids something to work for — not just the token stuff you see at a lot of school playgrounds. It runs a solid age range from toddlers up through 12, so siblings aren’t left out. There are benches for parents too, which matters when you’re up here and the weather decides to cooperate for once. Honestly, for a town this size, it punches well above its weight.
