Espee Park Playground

The splash pad alone makes this place worth the trip, especially once Chandler hits triple digits. Kids from toddlers up through about 12 get good mileage out of the climbing structure and slides, and the foam flooring is a nice touch — way easier on knees than packed dirt or asphalt. Shaded seating means parents can actually stick around comfortably instead of baking on a bench. It’s not flashy, but it covers the bases well and the water feature keeps everyone from melting in the afternoon heat.
