Playground at Riparian Preserve

Honestly, the real draw here isn’t the playground itself — it’s the fact that you’ve got a solid rest stop right inside one of the best nature preserves in the East Valley. Families hiking the trails or watching birds at the water treatment ponds will appreciate having picnic tables and clean restrooms without having to bail on the whole outing. It’s more of a pit-stop and lunch spot than a destination playground, so don’t bring the kids expecting a big climbing structure. That said, for a nature-heavy day out in Gilbert, having this base camp makes the whole visit a lot more manageable.
