Carriage Lane Park Playground

If you live on this side of Mesa, you already know Carriage Lane is the go-to on a weekday morning when you don’t want to deal with crowds. The shade trees actually do their job, which — if you’ve spent any time in Arizona — you know is not something to take for granted. Kids have a climbing structure and slides to keep them busy while you grab a picnic table that’s actually covered and usable past 9am. The pond nearby makes it feel less like a typical neighborhood park, and it’s a solid loop if you’re pushing a stroller or just trying to get some steps in. Parking is easy, restrooms are clean, and the basketball court and soccer field mean older kids aren’t bored either.
