Close enough to the water that you can actually hear the lake while the kids wear themselves out on the climbing structure — that’s a pretty solid setup for a Saturday. There’s a decent mix of slides and swings for the younger crowd, and the open grass field gives older kids room to run when they’re done. Pack a cooler because the BBQ area and picnic tables make it easy to stretch the afternoon into an actual event. The forest trails nearby are worth a walk if the adults need a breather, and parking is straightforward enough that you’re not circling around before you even get started.
