Archey Fork Park

If you live in Clinton and haven’t made Archey Fork a regular thing, you’re genuinely missing out. The water feature keeps younger kids occupied while older ones take over the basketball court or soccer field, and there’s enough open grass that nobody feels crowded. Shade trees actually do their job here — the picnic tables stay usable even on hot afternoons, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the county. The walking path runs close to the pond and backs up toward the tree line, so it feels more like a trail than a parking lot loop. Restrooms are clean, parking is easy, and the whole place just gets used the way a community park should.
