Rocketship Playground at Burns Park

Burns Park has a lot going for it, but the Rocketship Playground is honestly one of the better spots in North Little Rock for wearing out kids in the 2-12 range. The rocket theme actually carries through the equipment — tunnels, climbing structures, a merry-go-round — not just a name slapped on a generic playset. Parents get shaded seating with solid sightlines, which matters more than people admit, and the restrooms and picnic tables mean you can actually stay a while without scrambling. The open grass field and walking path give older kids room to roam once they’ve conquered the slides and seesaws. It’s the kind of place locals keep coming back to on weekends because it just works.
