Pinnacle Playground

Right at the foot of Pinnacle Mountain, this place pulls double duty as a solid playground and a launchpad for actual hiking. Kids from toddlers on up have plenty to do — there’s dedicated space for the little ones and enough equipment to keep older kids busy while you catch your breath at one of the picnic tables. The bike track and paved walking path mean you can make a whole morning of it without anyone getting bored. It stays genuinely clean out here, which isn’t something you can say about every park in central Arkansas. With trail access, a pond nearby, and that mountain backdrop, it’s the kind of spot locals keep coming back to on weekends.
