That whale-shaped climbing dome is genuinely one of the cooler playground structures in the East Bay — kids lose their minds for it, and honestly it’s pretty photo-worthy too. The ocean theme runs throughout, with tunnels, climbing elements, and musical equipment that keep the 2-to-12 crowd busy for a solid stretch. Swings are well-stocked with some varied options, which matters more than people realize when you’ve got a toddler and an older kid with completely different needs. There’s a basketball court and a bike track on-site, plus shaded seating and covered picnic tables so adults can actually settle in. Parking and restrooms make it an easy call for a longer visit.
