River Splash

Hot Anderson summers hit different, and this is where most locals end up when the temps climb. The splash pad is the main draw — kids of all ages use it, and there’s enough variety in the water features to keep them occupied for hours. Shaded seating, picnic tables, and benches mean parents can actually relax instead of standing around in the sun. The open grass field gives everyone room to spread out, and when community events roll through in summer, the whole place comes alive with food and music. Honestly one of the better ways to spend a weekend afternoon in town.
