Monarch Park Playground

Monarch Park is one of those spots in Brentwood that locals genuinely love — and it’s easy to see why. The playground is split into separate areas for toddlers and older kids, so the little ones aren’t getting bulldozed by the big kids. Beyond the play structures, there’s a solid stretch of open grass, a basketball court over at the connected Kestral Park, and easy access to the Marsh Creek Trail. That trail connection is honestly the best part — you get views of Mt. Diablo that make you forget you just drove through suburbia to get here.
