Mission Oaks Park

If you live on the west side of Camarillo, this is probably already your go-to spot — and for good reason. The kids have a water feature and tunnels to keep them busy while you actually get to sit on a bench and breathe for a minute. Trails run right alongside the park into the greenbelt, so it’s easy to turn a playground trip into a proper nature walk if you’re feeling it. The bike track and open grass field mean older kids and adults aren’t stuck watching from the sidelines either. Parking is easy, the grounds are kept up well, and it genuinely works for everything from a Tuesday afternoon with a toddler to a weekend family hang.
